JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Project Manager to lead our technology projects from inception to completion. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT projects within scope, budget, and schedule while ensuring quality and stakeholder satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and drive project success through effective communication and project management methodologies. This is for a full-time position.

THIS POSITION WILL ENTAIL:
  • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to closure, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.

  • Develop detailed project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project schedules using project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).

  • Identify project dependencies, critical path activities, and resource constraints, and proactively manage project risks and issues.

  • Allocate resources effectively, including project team members, vendors, and external consultants, and monitor their performance and progress.

  • Conduct regular project meetings, status updates, and communication sessions with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide financial forecasts and reports to stakeholders and senior management.

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

  • Implement project management best practices, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), and tools to drive project efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Facilitate post-project reviews, lessons learned sessions, and documentation of project outcomes, successes, and areas for improvement.

  • Other duties as assigned

DESIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven experience (5 years) as an IT Project Manager or similar role managing complex IT projects from initiation to closure.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices in IT project delivery.

  • Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello) for planning, tracking, and reporting.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and IT infrastructure projects is desirable.

  • Problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, and attention to detail in project planning and execution.

  • Highly competent in Microsoft office suites

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • Technology and software background required.

  • Proven work experience in project management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

  • Healthcare experience is a large plus.

  • Experience in leading projects in a consulting environment.
